Default Thursday, May 13th, 2010 update?

Second Thursday of the month? Check.

Upcoming skill changes preview in hand from previous month? Check.

What are the odds of it happening today? I also noticed at the bottom of said Upcoming Skill Balance page near the bottom, that if it wasn't ready we "may" get another preview of e-denial and other various skills etc. BEFORE the build release. Excerpt: "As we’re designing and testing changes, we’re looking very specifically at enabling roles (typically with a blend of damage mitigation and damage dealing) and play styles. We’re aiming to add and some powerful and appealing options for the Mesmer in PvE without introducing excessive power creep into the game. So far things are looking good, but we still have more things to tackle and a lot of fine-tuning to do. Depending on exactly how long this process takes, we may have another preview before the update comes out."

Any response from my favorite Community Management Team in all of gaming would be awesome

If it doesn't happen today, I'll come back in June when people start caring again... maybe...

They don't release every month anymore, learn this. The Live Team is severely understaffed and they need a LOT more time to do things because ANet is all busy working on the November GW2 release.

But yeah, I thought the update was happening today. Well the day isn't over so it might happen later on. And if there understaffed, cant they just get some more people? There are thousands of people that would love to help out -_-.

Risus is probably refering to the date from gamestores, who usually guestimate when a game is going to be released if no informtion has been released to the public.

@OP
They said that the new update will be released halfway through the month, no sense in creating another "when's the next update?" thread...

In case you haven't looked at a calendar, it's May 13th. I don't think I am being rude in asking for a timeline or skill update preview notes. why lock discussion on a discussion board?

Not to mention that it is almost halfway of the month of May, baring a day or two, so your point is moot.

In any case it would be nice to hear some sort of confirmation from Anet if the update is happening today or not, irrespective well find it in the next few hours.

Contrary to what most believes, the christian hell is actually ice-cold on the bottom according to Dante. The ninth circle is Betrayal and through it the rivers of hell Styx, Acheron and Phlegeton collects into Lake Cocytus, wherein the very worst sinners is frozen in the ice. Lucifer himself sits at the core of Betrayal, frozen in the ice and gnawing on Judas, Brutus and Cassius.
